Matt has also presented twice at DEFCON r00tz Asylum in Las Vegas, the first time to encourage young technologists to develop an interest in cyber security and white hat hacking, and the second time to discuss his role as a co-founder of mtwoteaching and how Easter Eggs can create vulnerabilities in their host programs. Matt enjoys writing novels in his free time and has been playing the drums since he was five years old. In high school, he showed his baseball team how to circumvent the school’s restrictive Internet browsing rules by using a VPN server and then got detention for it.
